Processes That Shape The Earth
An earth science study with lessons on erosion, earthquakes, volcanoes & hurricanes. Many hands on experiments.
This study will run 4 weeks.

Introduction To Chemistry
An introduction to chemistry. We will discover basic chemicals and the reactions they produce while learning
the Periodic Table of Elements. Parent supervision is required on lab days (Friday).

Aquatic Ecosystem Project
The purpose of this project is to gather information and create a fully balanced
working Aquatic Ecosystem. In the project, the students will be required to design a closed, self-sustaining ecosystem with
plants, animals, soil and water. The only external input will be a small aerator/water pump, sunlight and exposure to the
atmosphere. The student’s job is to design and build this ecosystem and insure the balance of nature within the system.
This project focuses on gathering information that is basic to maintaining the balance of this ecosystem. This study will run 4 weeks.

This unit study will explore Marine Biology as an introductory course. We will study plant and animal life
and develop a greater undertanding of marine life. Students will be required to write a research paper for this course.
